About Firewall

Akhirnya saya dapat memposting atau mengupdate blog saya ini setelah 2 bulan saya vacum.
kali ini saya menuliskan mengenai Firewall.
kenapa firewall?
Ini karena saya mau teman-teman mengetahui dulu tentang Firewall, kita mulai dari hal yang kecil dahulu baru kita melangkah ke level yang besar.ok?

apa itu firewall?
firewall adalah dinding api (dalam bahasa indonesianya) yang memiliki
fungsi untuk melindungi atau menjaga jaringan komputer kamu dari komputer lain yang tidak memiliki hak untuk mengakses komputer atau jaringan kita.
jika ada yang bertanya " akses seperti apa yang dilakukan pada komputer kita"?
maksud dari akses disini adalah komputer kamu dapat diambil alih oleh komputer lain melalui jaringan yang terkoneksi internet.
karena itulah firewall ini dibutuhkan untuk membatasi akses sebuah komputer
ke komputer yang lain dan juga untuk jaringan lainnya.

kemudian fungsi dari firewall sendiri apa yah?

berikut ini ada beberapa fungsi dari firewall :
1. Packet Filtering : maksud dari packet filtering ini yaitu firewall akan memeriksa paket TCP/IP (tergantung dari arsitektur jaringan yang dibuat) *TCP/IP hanya sebagai contoh dalam packet filtering ini*
dan memutuskan apakah data tersebut mempunyai akses untuk jaringan kita.
2. Traffic Management : disini firewall akan memantau lalu lintas jaringan kita.
3. Application Proxy : firewall dapat mengetahui protocol dari sebuah aplikasi tertentu yang lebih spesifik.
4. Network Address Translation (NAT) : artinya firewall akan meneruskan
paket data  dari jaringan luar ke dalam jaringan kita dengan benar
sesuai dengan IP kita, baik itu IP public atau IP yang kita buat sendiri.

what is a firewall?
firewall is a wall of fire (in Indonesian language) which has
function to protect or maintain your computer network from another computer that does not have the right to access the computer or ournetwork.
if someone asks "what kind of access is done on our computer"?
purpose of access here is that your computer can be taken over byanother computer through internet-connected network.
this is why firewall is required to limit access to a computer
to another computer and also for other tissues.

then the function of the firewall itself what yah?

The following are some functions of the firewall:
1. Packet Filtering: the purpose of this packet filtering firewall will check the TCP / IP (depending on network architecture created) *TCP / IP only as an example in this packet filtering *
and decide whether the data have access to our network.
2. Traffic Management: Here firewall will monitor our network traffic.
3. Application Proxy firewall can learn from a particular applicationprotocol that is more specific.
4. Network Address Translation (NAT): that means the firewall will forward
network data packets from the outside in our network properly
in accordance with our IP, whether it's public IP or IP of our own making.
