TCP/IP

These days I write more about what TCP / IP as I promised yesterday.
I am also here as well as learning more about TCP / IP is.OK? :)

What is TCP/IP?
Internet protocol suite or TCP / IP (which stands for Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) is a
data communication standards used in the process of exchangingdata between one computer to another computer
machines on the Internet.
TCP / IP is composed of a collection of protocols or protocol suite.
TCP / IP is the most widely used protocol today.

TCP / IP has been developed in the late decades of the 1970s untilthe early 1980s to connect each computer
and the network so as to form an extensive network (WAN).
addressing scheme of the TCP / IP uses IP addresses (IPaddresses) in which several hundred computers can connect to each other on the internet.
TCP / IP has a routable nature.
mean?
means that TCP / IP is able to connect different systems, be itMicrosoft Windows to Linux or Linux to Macintosh in order to form a network.
TCP / IP reference model DARPA.
What is the reference model DARPA?
reference model is similar to the OSI reference model, but DARPA has only four layer coating.

1.   Application layer protocols: This layer has the responsibility toprovide access to network applications TCP / IP.
there are some protocols that run on a layer of this layer is DynamicHost Configuration Protocol (DHCP),
Domain Name System (DNS), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP),File Transfer Protocol and others.

2. Host to Host Layer: This layer has a responsibility in making thecommunication between two hosts.
how to make a connection-oriented session, or by spreading aconnectionless broadcast.
a protocol that runs on layer ii is the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP).

3. Internetwork Protocol Layer: This layer has a responsibility to do the mapping (routing) and also the encapsulation of data packets in the network into IP packets.
multiple protocols running in this layer is the Internet Protocol (IP),Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Internet Control MessageProtocol (ICMP) and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP).

4. Network interface protocol layer: This layer is responsible forputting the data frames over the network media.
a protocol that runs in this layer are Ethernet and Token Ring), MANand WAN (such as dial-up modems over the Public SwitchedTelephone Network (PSTN), Integrated Services Digital Network(ISDN) and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM )).

for today I am here both ends meet until the first, I'll continue tomorrow how the addressing of the TCP / IP ini.oke?
:)
oh yaa,,I also provide a video from Youtube how TCP / IP works. OK
:)
I'll see you again.
Thank you.
